Channels and Packet Identifiers (PIDs)

Each service available on EUMETCast has been assigned a corresponding multicast channel and Packet Identifier (PID). In order to receive the service, the relevant PID must be selected.

The tables below provide the list of current multicast channels and PIDs. For details on how to set PIDs, see EUMETCast Technical Description.

Note for LINUX users: Linux users having installed the EUMETSAT provided dvb-eumetcast package should upgrade to version 1.1 or later. The structure of the channels file has changed and is not compatible with earlier versions. The package including most recent channel files is available for download at the following sites:
