EUMETSAT User Support
Welcome to the EUMETSAT user support knowledge base
These pages offer supporting information for users who are currently working with, or are looking to start using, the data and satellite services offered by EUMETSAT. The pages do not replace the EUMETSAT website, which should be the first point of call for users looking for information about EUMETSAT, updates on service availability, and the latest news and updates from the organisation. However, if you are looking for help using a specific satellite product, or data service, you have come to the right place!
These pages are a growing resource. Over time they will become more comprehensive as they incorporate more information as well as feedback from the community. If you wish to leave us feedback on these pages or have questions that are not answered here, you can email our user support helpdesk.

EUMETSAT DATA SERVICES
EUMETSAT offers an evolving range of meteorological, oceanographic and climate monitoring data that reflect the needs of the user community. Data are made available via EUMETCAST, the EUMETSAT Data Centre, the Copernicus Online Data Access portal and through Direct Data Dissemination. During 2020, as part of an evolution to its Data Services, EUMETSAT is releasing new pilot services which will provide new data access capabilities. New services include the EUMETSAT Data Tailor and EUMETSAT Data Store , as well as improvements to the EUMETView service. In partnership with ECMWF, EUMETSAT is also offering hosted processing services through the European Weather Cloud.
Users should note that during the pilot phase, these new data services are provided on a best efforts basis, intended for evaluation purposes only. As such, they should not be relied upon for operational data delivery. We welcome receiving your feedback via our User Service Helpdesk.
Information within these pages will help you to select the right service for your needs and show you how to set-up and use them.
EUMETSAT SATELLITE SERVICES
EUMETSAT operates a fleet of meteorological and oceanographic satellites, providing weather and climate data for more than 25 years. We currently operate the Meteosat-8, 9, 10 & 11 and Metop-A, B & C weather satellites. We also operate the Jason-3 altimeter and Sentinel-3A & 3B marine monitoring satellites on behalf of the European Commission Copernicus programme.
Information within these pages will provide technical information on our satellites, their instruments and the processing of their data.
